LewRey's brand new single 'Here To Stay' has made its way straight into the UK Official Top 100. Commercial director Sean Jarvis says 'The song is absolutely brilliant. I’m confident it will go down really well with HTAFC fans and music lovers in general. The song firmly puts across our intentions for this season! #HereToStay.” The song currently sits at 49 in the UK pop charts and 90 in the UK Official Top 100.
Huddersfield duo LewRey will be proudly releasing “Here To Stay” on 11th August, as the song is set to be the official anthem of Huddersfield Town AFC as they embark on their first season in the top flight of English football since 1972. It is an unashamed slice of hands-in-the-air pop, with a perfect sing-along hook to get fans united in song as they set out to conquer the Premier League!
Both Ian Walker and Lewis Reynolds are huge fans of their hometown club and were honoured to record a song to celebrate the promotion. The lyrics are defiant and optimistic and the chorus speaks to every fan hopeful of a bright future for their club.
Ian and Lewis are childhood friends who formed LewRey in 2014 and have played over 450 shows since. This has included support slots for the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Example, Pendulum and Craig David, along with many headline shows both in the UK and across Europe. Their single “Til You Come Home” reached no.8 in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart in 2016.
Lewis is a trained classical musician and Ian is a product of a jazz and improvisational background, and they bonded over their love of music beyond the mainstream. However it is their combined passion for the elementary art of pop song writing which laid the foundations of LewRey.
In 2014, we released our first EP 'What's Up?'
3 years later, we still share the same goals we agreed in the beginning...
We wanted to share our music with the world, perform in venues all over the Country and challenge and develop ourselves as musicians. Your continued support has allowed us to tick all of these boxes and for that we can't thank you enough!
In 3 years, we've gained a wealth of experience as an unsigned band. We always knew our first EP had room for growth which is why we have decide to re-visit Halfway House.
In this release, we hope to demonstrate our musical development. We hope that those who have shared the journey with us so far enjoy the track and feel that our work has matured.
The song is accompanied with a brand new Vevo Official Video. We have flown to great heights (literally) to get this video right so we really hope you like it!

To all you beautiful people that love Scott Remmer.
Im sure that not a day goes by where you don't think about him. How lucky we are to have him with us and our gratitude towards the emergency services and staff that have been aiding his recovery.
Well now is your time to say thank you and show your support.
On Scotts Birthday (02/10/2016) we are set to release our new single ’Til’ You Come Home’ which is dedicated to Scott and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The track symbolises the love, care and affection that surrounds Scott's persona. It describes his incredible strength of character. The smile he puts on your face, the giggle in your stomach and that ever growing sense of hunger to be around him. We've also made subtle references to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance who helped save his life.
We will be launching the track at the Holmfirth Picturedrome on Friday 14th October.
Tickets - http://www.picturedrome.net/tickets/LewRey/20161014.htm
All the profits from the track and the launch will be going directly to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Please download, buy and share everything we're doing to help support this amazing organisation.
Its all for an unbelievable cause and an unbelievable friend.
Please show you support
Peace & Love, LewRey xxx
